I turned the game off to go to bed when there were six minutes left in the third. The Wild were up 3-1. I figured the game was over. Not long after I had dozed off my cell phone went off right next to my head with a text message of the final score.
Sabres 4 Wild 3 in 1 OT.
Nothing brings a girl out of peaceful slumber quite as jarringly as a score like this.
